travel adventures with olga and daniel: Sunny, Florida, United States; HI ~ We continue to travel! Olga and daniel met in India in 1987, revisited in 2007, 2015-16. From Delhi to Punjab and Rajasthan, Mumbai to Goa, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Affordable and fun travel - bed breakfasts, quiet guest houses and even on a princely houseboat on Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir. We met professors, artisan jewelers and village craft people and their families, even an indian saint. Olga is a naturalist filled with curiosity - she does nature - trees, water, creatures, mountains...then she does custom design in crochet, knitting and fabric. She sits down with the locals and her work reflects her experiences. We go for the unique and eclectic - from geologic formations, gems and crystals, to leaf patterns, thousand year old trees and mangroves. Truth bearing sayings and texts, odd collectibles, even trotting horses... Eco and nature expeditions continue on the agenda for 2017 and beyond. We'll be posting on location in Spain, Italy, Holland and India as wifi allows ;-) Daniel has been a coin collector for decades. Watch for his finds in pre-1900 coins, silver and obsolete world currency. Pleasant Journeys!
